CROSSFLATTS Village are the early pacesetters in the Bradford Sunday Alliance Football League and they went top after a stunning 5-1 victory over last season's champions Olympic.

Village were leading 2-0 at the interval before running in another three in the second period. On the mark for the new leaders were Connor Erangey, Mick Garnett, Ollie Metcalfe, Matty Morgan and Craig Morris.

Station Hotel slipped to second after losing by the odd goal in three against fellow high-flyers Westwood Park.

Westwood took a two-goal advantage into the break due to strikes from Andy Benjamin and George Cuff. Despite a second-half fightback by Hotel, Nathan Woodward's goal proved to be a mere consolation.

West Bowling returned to form by hitting 13 goals past a hapless Ventus Yeadon Celtic. Gareth Taylor bagged a hat-trick and there were two goals each for Wayne Spark, John May and Adam Jordan.

Finally, Sandy Lane turned a 2-1 half-time deficit into a stunning 6-2 win at home to Bolton Woods.

In the Championship, Northern FC lead the way. They are two points clear of Prospect FC after beating Rattlers 2-1.

Lee Smith's goal ensured they went into the break level before Dan O'Donnell secured the points by netting the winner in the 55th minute.

Prospect were too strong for visitors Tyersal Sunday and ran out 4-1 winners, despite a late consolation strike from Adam Jarrett.

Wrose Bull beat former leaders Keighley Town in a 5-0 thrashing, while Wibsey hit four against Heaton Athletic thanks to Luke Hepton's brace and John Brannan and Chris Bowyer's goals.

AFC Titans hit three against Bradford Celtic, with Gary Lee, James Royal and Ben McArdle all on the scoresheet.

In the First Division, FC Queensbury are top on goal difference from Peacock Bar.

Queensbury won 2-0 at Bolton Woods Socials, with Steven Mason and Jamie Simpson-Wood on target, while Peacock Bar shared four goals and the points against Thornton United Reserves, thanks to Darren Fothergill's brace.

Mill Lane top the Second Division with 18 points, with Eccleshill Lane and Throstle Nest both six points further back.

Clayton Albion lead Division Three on goal difference over White Hart and Tyersal Sunday Reserves, although the stand out result in the division came when AFC Undercliffe thrashed Black Swan 9-0.

Ian Gilmour hit four to bag his second hat-trick in two games, while there were braces for Samuel Cummins and Bradley Northin.
