MEWIES Solicitors Craven League Division One leaders Barrowford travelled to Haworth Road Meths and came away pointless.

The Baildon Bottom side walloped 254-5, with Mohammad Zahid making 100 before retiring, having injured himself on 90, and Will Burgess 66 as the duo added 161 for the first wicket.

The Bull Holme side's top order was then blown away by Zahir Abbas (4-50), although they recovered to 172.

Bingley Congs are second, on run rate, after an 80-run victory over Wilsden at Beckfoot Lane. The home side made 190-5, with Chris Dibb (49) and Neil Copping (35) leading the way.

Ben Hemsley (3-8) and Harry Greenhalgh (3-24) then helped the Windy Grove side back to the hut for 110, of which Dipesh Mistry (27no) top scored.

Rob Hollingworth hit 11 fours and four sixes in an 88-ball 92 to go with Joel Gallagher’s 30 as Oakworth finished on 172 at Ryshworth Park, with Mayank Singh (4-41) and Jim O’Hara (3-32) the best bowlers.

Crossflatts then galloped home by four wickets, thanks to Dom Bennett (73) and Ben Hinchcliffe (34).

Embsay struggled to 104 in 42 overs at Haworth, with John Golson (28) and Phil Binner (26) top scoring as Stephen Bell (4-40) and Damian Rowell (3-21) were the bowling stars.

The West Lane side quickly found themselves in trouble and at one time were 30-7 before Adam Bailey (26no) helped the score reach 58.

Scott Robinson (5-13) and Sam Arkwright (4-22) were the destroyers in chief.

Hepworth & Idle won the battle of the relegated sides.

Ten-man Ingrow were restricted to 95, with Dan Scott (46) top scoring as Nathan Allatt (4-12) and Don Wooller (3-23) did the damage with the ball.

The Westfield Lane lads lost only two wickets in reaching their target, with Jonathan Thompson (35no) and Mick Newell (31no) putting on an undefeated 66 for the third wicket.

Andrew Fountain (30) and 'Mr Extras' (19) helped Sutton to 129 at home to Denholme, with Ronnie Chokununga (3-12), Ryan Judson (3-12) and Sarum Qureshi (3-34) sharing the wickets. The Bradford Road side then galloped home by eight wickets. with Matt Wear (50) and Toby Priestley (43) top scoring.

With three weeks left of the season, Foulridge and Cowling have won promotion to the top tier.

Division Two leaders Foulridge were at Gargrave and won a low-scoring game by 11 runs.

The Noyna side were restricted to 109 as Joe Wood (4-45) and Stuart Weatherill (4-32) got to work.

Then the hosts were restricted to 98, despite 31 from John Beckwith.

Second-placed Cowling welcomed Airedale to the Coliseum and lost by 17 runs but still went up.

Chris Gill (46) was chiefly responsible for Airedale reaching 146, with opener David Henson and 'Mr Extras' each adding 26.

Ajmal Choudhry (5-30) and Shahid Hassan (4-38) got among the wickets for Cowling, who only had two players in double figures – opener William Bowden (67) and No 3 Mohammed Shah Usman (18).

Mohammed Qadeer Hanif (3-23), Gill (3-31) and Mathew Cox (2-16) helped Airedale to their narrow victory.

Haworth Road Meths II found themselves at 3-4 and 64-7 before Waj Mahmood (32no) and Devon Beckford (31) pushed the score to 136-9 as Farhan Khalid finished with 3-54.

Hosts Bradford & Bingley III were then hustled out 62, with Rick Foulder (19) and 'Mr Extras' (14) top scoring as Mohammad Ibrahim took 6-16.

Bottom side Chatburn trounced visitors Long Lee by 10 wickets, with the Golden View side being dismissed for 75 of which Craig Pullen made 31.

Cononley just managed to snatch the points by one wicket against Sandy Lane in south Craven. The Greenwood Park side were indebted to Sayed Bilal-Hayder (42no) for getting them to 103-7, with Harry Parker (3-20) and Lewie Fitton (3-35) sharing the wickets.

The hosts found themselves at 94-9 but managed to creep over the line, with Cameron Knowles (45) top scoring as Bilal-Hayder claimed 5-27.

Next-to-bottom Glusburn went down again – this time by six wickets at home to Eldwick & Gilstead.

Arnie Raistrick (4-21) and Ajeet Singh (3-24) helped the Park Field side back to the hut for 114, and Jacob Roach then made 57 not out as Azhar Iqbal took all four wickets to fall for 34 runs.

Division Three leaders Barrowford II are within touching distance of the title they have a five-point gap at the top after overcoming Thornton-in-Craven by four wickets at Bull Holme.

The second promotion spot will go to one of three teams – Crossflatts II have a one-point lead over Riddlesden and Bingley Congs II, who were involved in a tie.

The Ryshworth Park side were at Oakworth and dismissed the home side for 71, with Jordan Powell (26) top scoring in a side that contained six juniors.

Brian Freimanis (3-10), Vijay Amirtharaj (3-20) and Mark Pennington (3-10) shared the wickets. and then Freimanis (24) then helped his side home by six wickets.

Riddlesden were at home to Bingley Congs II, and the Beckfoot Lane side were cruising at 100-4 before losing their last six wickets for just eight runs.

'Mr Extras' (25) and Jamie Teale (23) top scored as Mohammad Quadeer (5-24) did the damage with the ball.

The Grange Road side were wobbling at 99-9 before skipper Zain Naeem (26no) and last man Bob Morrisroe levelled the scores before the latter succumbed for one as Tony Teale took 4-22 and Steve Broughton 3-29.

Hepworth & Idle II were knocked over for 58 at Skipton CI, who won by nine wickets.

Bottom side Sutton II had six juniors in their at Bradley.

They were shot out for 34, with 'Mr Extras' (11) top scoring as Andy Holmes claimed 5-14.

This was in answer to the Matthew Lane side's 240-8, with Harry Andrews making 69 as Jack Whitaker took 4-40.

Shahid Mahmood had a good day as Embsay II saw off Haworth II by three wickets at Shires Lane.

Firstly he took 5-16 as the Bronte side posted 86 and then top scored with 42 to set up the victory.

Three teams – Chatburn II, Foulridge II and Silsden – are fighting over the two promotion slots from Division Four.

Leaders Chatburn II and Foulridge II both received three points when Long Lee II and Oakworth III both conceded.

Silsden were at home to nine-man Gargrave II and restricted them to 89, with Will Pullen (3-20) being the best of the seven bowlers used.

Jack Roberts (48) then helped the Keighley Road side home by seven wickets.

Airedale II were shot out for 45 at Bradford Road, with Aqib Chatta taking 6-5 off 9.2 overs. Visitors Cowling II then recovered from 28-4 to get home by six wickets as Josh Coppack took 3-28.

Eight-man Cononley II just got the better of Bingley Congs III at Greenwood Park, winning by eight runs.

Matt Brooke (35) and Matt Hogg (34) helped the south Craveners to 104, with Simon Webster taking 4-35.

The hosts were dismissed for 96, with Matt Hogg taking 4-23 and Paul Hogg 3-32.

James Bloodworth (62) was in the runs again as Denholme II trounced Skipton CI II by eight wickets at Bradford Road, while Bradley II conceded to Ingrow II.

There was a nail-biting finish between Wilsden II and Glusburn II at Windy Grove.

Ben Thornton (84) and Steve Houldsworth (44no) helped the hosts to 192-7, with Alan Coney taking 3-54.

Then Coney (61) and Noman Hassan (41) set up a fine run chase that reached its target with three wickets to spare in the 44th over.
