ADAM Boyes is set for an early return to Horsfall Stadium tonight as Bradford (Park Avenue) welcome Spennymoor Town.

The striker bagged 24 goals for Mark Bower's side last season - including one at Kidderminster in the final National League North fixture which put Avenue in the play-offs at the expense of Spennymoor.

But Boyes returned to his native north east in the summer and bagged a goal on his first start at the weekend when Town drew 4-4 at home to Altrincham.

They had to come from behind three times to earn what was their third draw in their three opening matches.

Avenue are three points ahead of their visitors thanks to two early wins but they will be keen to bounce back from their first defeat of the season at Leamington last Saturday.

Guiseley have a made a slow start under new bosses Marcus Bignot and Russ O'Neill but gained their first point at home to AFC Telford last time out.

The Lions are looking for their first victory tonight, though it won't be easy at Stockport County, who are fourth in the early table.

Meanwhile, Liversedge travel to Garforth Town in the Northern Counties East League top flight.
