VISITORS Embsay had struggled to 120 all out against Hepworth & Idle in Division One of the Mewies Craven Cricket League, with Ben Keane (36) top scoring as Don Wooler took 3-4.

However, the home side collapsed to 42-8 after Elliot Stockton (4-29) and Haroon Ali (3-30) ran riot among the top order.

Nathan Allatt (19) and the last pair dug in though and pushed the score to 82-9 when a deluge halted the game at the last.

Haworth Road were also hanging on for dear life as they entertained Denholme. The visitors rattled up 235-8, with Toby Priestley (79) in the runs again as Rob Greenwood claimed 5-57.

The home side were 102-8 before play was halted after Ryan Judson took an impressive 6-49.

Bingley Congs did managed to finish their game and edged above Barrowford on run rate at the summit.

They welcomed neighbours Crossflatts and saw them make 148 as Ben Hemsley (4-19) and Harry Greenhalgh (4-52) took the bowling honours.

Youngster Hemsley then opened the innings and made 52 not out to steer his side home by three wickets. For their opponents, Wasim Hussain took 5-17.

Barrowford dismissed visitors Sutton for 124, with Richard Walker (52no) top scoring. They reached 13 without loss in reply before storms put paid to any further play.

Third-placed Oakworth were at Wilsden and saw their hosts amass 206, led by Chris Mitchell (60). Tom Fothergill (4-62) was his side's best bowler.

The visitors were 148-5 when play ceased, with Drew Duffy making 49.

Mark Price (42) helped Ingrow to 143 at home to Haworth with Jamie Rowell (4-25) getting among the wickets. The visitors had reached 9-1 at the close.

Foulridge leapfrogged Cowling to take over at the top of Division Two by one point as they enjoyed a quick victory at Eldwick & Gilstead.

The home side were dismissed for 88, and it took the new leaders only 14.5 overs to get to 89-6 and win the contest.

Meanwhile, Cowling were at home to Haworth Road II who, going first, were on 142-5 when the rain arrived. Will Forrest (35) and Waj Mahmood 32no were the main contributors.

Third-placed Gargrave had Glusburn 103-5, with Mark Johnston on 40no, before play was cancelled for the day.

Adam Swallow (82) and Farhan Khalid (52) helped Bradford & Bingley III reach 183 with Lee Rickaby taking 4-17 in 12 overs.

Hosts Airedale had made 139-8 at the close of play, with Paul Feather (33) leading the way.

Long Lee racked up 242-9 at home to Cononley, with Mohammad Ishtiaq (57) and Richard Ayrton (56) being the main contributors as Paul Hogg claimed 4-50.

The visitors raced to 130 without loss in their reply, with Under-18 Cameron Knowles hitting 17 fours and a six in his 94no but sadly the weather curtailed his knock.

Finally, Chatburn entertained Sandy Lane. The visitors posted 145 with Baker Channan (40) top scoring. Attique Khan recorded figures of 3-46 but the hosts took the spoils by five wickets.
