World Cup fever has caused many leagues to postpone their midweek cricket fixtures, including the Bradford & District Evening Cricket League
WORLD Cup fever has taken hold of the country and the Bradford & District Evening Cricket League has decided to postpone this Wednesday evening's fixtures as a result.
This will enable people to watch that night's England v Croatia World Cup semi-final, which is due to kick off at 7.00pm. The matches due to be played in the Evening League have now been rearranged for Wednesday, August 8.
The league has expressed its gratitude to clubs, umpires and other officials for their co-operation in this regard.
