GUISELEY have today announced a new signing and the departure of another member of last season's squad.
Harrogate Town centre back Terry Kennedy has joined from Harrogate Town while midfieldman John Rooney has moved to National League side Barrow.
Twenty-four year old Kennedy made 31 appearances for Simon Weaver’s promotion-winning side last season scoring nine goals.
His performances saw him win the club’s Away Supporters Player of the Year award.
Kennedy had a youth career with both home-town club Barnsley and Sheffield United.
He turned professional with the Blades in 2011 and after 19 appearances in five seasons he moved on to sign for Alfreton Town, where he worked under his new Guiseley joint-boss Russ O'Neill, making 26 appearances in the 2016-17.
He is the third defender signed by Guiseley this season. Scott Garner and Niall Heaton were earlier captures.
