TWO of the six Britons who have been awarded wild cards into the men's qualifying at the Fuzion 100 Ilkley Trophy, which starts today, have been drawn against each other.

Billy Harris and Finn Bass  will meet in the first round, while former semi-finalist Brydan Klein has drawn eighth seed Stefan Kozlov (United States).

Lloyd Glasspool faces former Australian Open doubles semi-finalist Andrew Whittington (Australia), while Jonathan Gray meets fourth seed Noah Rubin (United States).

Leeds' Luke Johnson, who won the British Tour event at Ilkley last August, faces Ilkley regular Hiroki Moriya (Japan).

Nottingham-born Harris is 23 and lives on the Isle of Man, while Bass is only 18, but his favourite surface is grass.

Midlander Glasspool is 24, the same age as Johnson, who has chiefly been having success in doubles this year, as has 21-year-old Gray.

Klein, meanwhile, has been trying to qualify in Challenger events, as he is here at the $150,000 men's tournament.

Top seed in qualifying is Hubert Hurkacz, who plays fellow Pole Kamil Majchrzak, while 2017 runner-up Alex Bolt (Australia), who is seeded sixth, is up against France's Gregoire Barrere.
