KEIGHLEY Cougars head coach Craig Lingard has announced his 19-man squad for Sunday’s visit of Coventry Bears to Cougar Park.
The Cougars will be without Darrell Griffin (quad) who has been ruled out for three weeks with the injury that forced him from the field in the closing stages of last weekend’s defeat to Whitehaven.
Keighley have also lost second-row Josh Lynam, who sustained a broken arm during training on Tuesday evening and whose return date has not been set.
Forward Harvey Hallas returns from injury and is the only new face in the squad for the fixture with Thomas Tsang’s men.
Trae O’Sullivan (head) was cleared to return to full training on Tuesday following four months on the sidelines with concussion, but this weekend’s fixture comes too soon for the prop.
Hamish Barnes (shoulder) has suffered a fracture and joins Emmerson Whittel (knee) in being Lingard’s only long-term injury concerns.
