KIERAN Heptinstall's long-range strike sealed a 5-4 victory for Eccleshill United Eagles under-15s after Leeds City Juniors threatened to nick the points in a Garforth League thriller.
Eccleshill dominated the first half as goals from Joe O'Malley, Taylor Williams, Bailey Evans and Alex Clay earned a 4-0 interval lead.
Leeds City hit back strongly with three replies before Heptinstall eased the nerves with a 40-yarder – and although the Eagles conceded again, they were able to hang on.
