JAKE Reeves could be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to an ongoing groin injury.

The midfielder must undergo a course of injections and total rest in an attempt to cure the persistent problem which has dogged him since November.

Reeves had started the campaign well after joining from AFC Wimbledon in the summer but his form has suffered a dip.

Boss Stuart McCall has fresh options in midfield, having brought in Burton's Matty Lund and Stephen Warnock, and Callum Guy from Derby during the transfer window.
