ECCLESHILL United have suffered back-to-back defeats in the Northern Under-19 Alliance League.
The Eagles lost 5-3 at Steeton, despite taking an early lead through Joe Storey.
However, they then conceded the next five goals before they replied with late goals from Alex Preston and Bilal Topal.
Even worse followed, however, as Eccleshill then entertained bottom-of-the-table AFC Emley and suffered a 5-0 thrashing.
Eccleshill manager Warren Rayner said: "It's fair to say that the wheels have come off during our last two matches.
"We were hammered at home to Emley – maybe the four-week gap in matches following our 6-0 win against Bradford Park Avenue goes some way to explaining our two defeats, but nevertheless, it is very disappointing."
