CHARLIE Wyke is clear to play for City at Fleetwood this afternoon after the club won an appeal against his red card.
The Football Association this morning overturned his dismissal against Oxford after viewing evidence submitted by the Bantams.
It will come as a major boost for Stuart McCall, who was otherwise facing the next three games without his top scorer.
Chief operating officer James Mason said: "The odds of having decisions overturned are not great for obvious reasons.
"But we discussed the incident at length yesterday morning and as a group it was a unanimous decision.
"There was a risk in doing this so a lot of praise needs to go to those who worked on the appeal, including our press officer Mark Harrison, Roger Owen and of course Stuart and Charlie in giving statements.
"We'd like to thank the FA's disciplinary panel also for considering the appeal and making the right decision.
"In doing so, it preserves Charlie's excellent disciplinary record intact."
