Harrogate Town 1 Bradford Park Avenue 1
BRADFORD Park Avenue banked a point from deserved draw at Vanarama National League North leaders Harrogate Town to follow their unfortunate weekend defeat at Darlington.
The first half was extended by seven minutes of additional time after Avenue lost half of their back four.
Ryan Toulson went down after just six minutes following a challenge from Joe Leesley and, despite long treatment, he left the pitch minutes later on a stretcher.
The home side broke the deadlock just before the half-hour mark when the ball broke kindly for Jack Emmett and he slotted in from deep inside the area.
Minutes before the interval, centre back Javan Vidal was the second Avenue player to succumb to injury, although he was able to limp off after another long break in play.
The visitors had struck the woodwork in first-half stoppage time, when Jamie Spencer's long-range shot came back off a post, and they levelled just three minutes into the second period.
Adam Boyes leapt above the home defence to head home a Nicky Clee cross and make it 1-1.
Both sides could have won the game with big opportunities later in that second period and Avenue looked stronger and were pushing for a winner going into the four minutes of added time.
