WYKE Wanderers, who have announced Hayden Fox as first-team manager and Luke Fawcett as his assistant, began their pre-season campaign with a 2-1 victory over Wibsey.
They then defeated Shelf 4-2, Karl Fawcett bagging a brace as 16-year-old Ryan Clay's midfield industry was rewarded.
Joe Entwhistle then made it 3-0 before Fawcett completed his hat-trick, with Shelf bagging two late consolations.
Baildon Trinity Athletic, still recovering from Lee Rands' wedding reception, drew 2-2 at Otley Town, with assistant manager Danny Milner netting both for Athletic.
Field, whose match at Britannia Sports was postponed at short notice as the hosts could not raise a team, are at Huddersfield YMCA tomorrow [Wednesday] (7pm).
Field Reserves, managed by Nick Martin and Matthew Vickers, start their friendlies on Thursday at home to Ryburn United (7.30).
Wyke Wanderers Reserves will be looked after by Steve Wakeling and No 2 James Butterworth.
