APPERLEY Bridge, who were 4-3, have moved off the bottom of Group A in the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League after registering their first league win of the season.

Bridge finished on 231-7 off their 40 overs, with Hassan Zeb (84) and Sher Khan (76) sharing a fifth-wicket partnership of 135, with Salman Khawaja contributing 42.

In reply, Allerton were all out for 138 all out in 34.1 overs, with Khawaja completing an all-round performance by taking three wickets.

Interlink, who made 194 (Mohammed Ibrahim 59no), remain top after hammering Bradford Gymkhana.

The latter's innings only lasted 9.3 overs, with Ismail Adam taking 5-4 and Mohammed Pandor 5-16 in a total of 20.

Omars remain second after beating Yorkshire LPS by four wickets.

LPS made 224 (Mukesh Patel 56, Ali Ghazanfar 40), but Rizwan Ali (77) and Shmile Khan (44) replied in style.

Bradford Moor were involved in a rain-affected draw against Great Horton Church, but stay third.

Church, boosted by a second-wicket partnership of 107 between Mohammed Bilal (89) and Adnan Shafique (33), were all out for 191 in 39 overs, with Mohammed Imran taking 4-45.

In reply, Bradford Moor made 168-6 in 38 overs, with Adnan Amir unbeaten on 49 as the contest was declared a rain-affected draw as both sides failed to receive the same number of overs.

Girlington, who were all out for 218 in 34 overs (Mushtaq Hussain 54. Sajid Mohammad 5-40), beat Hallfield by 98 runs.

Zahid Khaliq took 4-4 for Girlington as Hallfield were castled for 120 in 26.3 overs.

Mayfield (179) have moved to the top of Group B after beating Bradford Gymkhana (211) by 58 runs.

Yorkshire Friends beat Great Horton Church by five wickets after a well-contested game.

Church made 177-9 (Rizwan Hameed 4-33) off 40 overs, Friends replying with 178-5 off 37 overs.

Salem Athletic (101) have slipped to third after losing to Parkside (108) by seven runs, while Hallfield are down to fifth after Bowling Baptists beat them by three wickets, despite making 215 (Akhtar Mahmood 4-52, Waqas Ali 3-44).

Shabaz Ishaq scored 60 not out for Hallfield, reaching his half-century off only 18 balls, but they had to give best to the Baptists, who replied with 218-7, all-rounders Mahmood (65) and Ali (77no) completing a fine day.

Girlington have moved off the foot of the table after beating Cambing by one wicket.

Cambing made 129 (Hamayun Khan 45, Manzur Sharif 6-31), Girlington replying with 130-9 (Mohammad Ayaz 4-21).

Denholme Clough remain top of Group C, despite losing their second consecutive game, this time by six wickets to Great Horton Meths.

Clough did well to reach 84 off 21.5 overs, having been 18-5.

Antony Moss was the key figure for Meths, taking 5-46 before scoring 45 of their 85-4 off 13.1 overs.

Cambing remain second after beating Bradford Indians by 60 runs, scoring 191-3 (Majid Ali 50no, Rafkhat Ali 43) before Indians were toppled for 131 off 38 overs.

TABS have moved into third after beating Bowling Baptists by 15 runs, despite only making 88 (Sajid Malik 5-13).

Baptists were back in the pavilion for 73 as M Saleem (4-27) and Nadeem Ahmed (4-13) did most damage.

Salem Athletic (202) are up to fourth after defeating Mandhata by 71 runs, 16-year-old M Sudais scoring 62 and taking 4-10 for Salem in Mandhata's 131.

Bradford Moor YCA had the key man in Ahsan Ali Shah (81 and 5-49) as they beat Mayfield by 101 runs after scoring 192 all out in 35.2 overs.

Darren Reynolds took 5-34 for Mayfield, who were bowled out for 91.

In Group D, Greenfield have gone clear after winning their top-of-the-table clash against Muff Field A by five runs.

Greenfield made 168 (Alex Pearson 4-42) and Muff Field A 163 (Alan Broadbent 46, Shafaqat Zahir 5-38).

Allerton remain third after being in the runs with 275-8 (Abid Hussain 73, Rehan Azeem 68, Sohail Shah 55) against Central YMCA, who were dismissed for 128 in 39.5 overs (Gurpreet Romana 5-29).

Yorkshire LPS, who made 125 (Islam Khokar 4-38), beat Muff Field B (77) by 48 runs, while West Bowling won their bottom-of-the-table clash against Great Horton Meths.

Bowling made 130 in their 40 overs (Matthew Healey 4-46), but that was plenty as Meths were skittled for 31 in 12 overs, skipper Anjum Munir taking 5-12 as Bowling got off the mark for the season.
