TONY McMahon faces at least a month on the City sidelines.
McMahon injured his thigh in training a week ago and Stuart McCall confirmed this afternoon that he will be out for some time.
“I would think it will be a minimum of a month for Tony,” said the City boss.
Marc McNulty will not be ready to face Chesterfield on Saturday because of the serious dead leg he suffered in a clash with Fleetwood keeper Chris Neal.
But James Hanson has an outside chance of returning to the squad. The striker has missed the last two games with a problem in the other calf from the one which kept him sidelined previously.
McCall said: “He’s done some work today and we’ll just wait until tomorrow to see if there’s a reaction.
“If he is okay, then he could possibly be involved.”
