CITY have signed former Shrewsbury skipper Nathaniel Knight-Percival.

The 29-year-old centre half has penned a two-year deal after passing a medical earlier today.

City have beaten off League One rivals Southend, Gillingham and Bury for Knight-Percival, who trained with his new team-mates this morning.

Nicknamed Rolls Royce for his classy style of play, the Enfield-born defender operates on the left side at centre half and can also cover at left back.

Meanwhile, left back Greg Leigh has signed a two-year contract with Bury after being unable to agree a new deal with City.
