ETHAN Ryan is poised to make his first senior appearance for the Bulls after being included in their 19-man squad for Thursday’s visit of London Broncos.

The versatile 19-year-old back, who graduated from Matt Diskin’s Under 19s side at the end of 2015, has appeared in pre-season friendlies but could now make his first professional appearance.

The Bulls are currently without their two first-choice centres in Adrian Purtell (groin) and Kris Welham, who was forced off with a back problem during last week's Challenge Cup defeat to Dewsbury last Friday.

Ryan could replace Welham at centre, while Adam O'Brien and Richard Mathers return after being rested last week.

Rhys Lovegrove misses out due to concussion sustained at Dewsbury while Etu Uaisele is left out of the squad having made his first appearance of the season last Friday.

Joining Welham, Purtell and Lovegrove on the sidelines are Ben Kavanagh, Adam Sidlow and Danny Williams, leaving the Bulls without six of arguably their top seventeen players.

Bulls: 19-man squad: Dale Ferguson, Omari Caro, Ethan Ryan, Joe Lumb, Dan Fleming, Alex Mellor, Jay Pitts, Tom Olbison, Mitch Clark, Lee Gaskell, Kurt Haggerty, James Clare, Oscar Thomas, Richie Mathers, Adam O’Brien, Matty Blythe, Danny Addy, Steve Crossley, Paul Clough.
