Jon Lewis in pre-season action for the Bantams against Guiseley
AMERICAN Jon Lewis has left Bradford City after complaining of being home sick.
The 18-year-old from Atlanta was touted as potentially "the next Nahki Wells" after being spotted by Mark Ellis's RIASA programme.
But the striker found it difficult to settle so far from home and his two-year contract has this afternoon been terminated by mutual consent.
Lewis appeared in pre-season for City at Guiseley but was recently loaned to Farsley Celtic.
