Todays' Vanarama Conference North game between Bradford Park Avenue and Gainsbough Trinity has been postponed.
A section of the Horsfall Stadium pitch is frozen and, regular as clockwork, another home fixture bites the dust.
"Overnight temperatures were just too much for the problem area - in front of the changing room building - which gets no sun and as a result will not thaw out before kick-off," said the club's website.
"The club had paid for some work on the pitch during the week, as it was “vertidrained” before being rolled. However there was nothing we could do about the freezing weather in the last 24 hours."
Avenue, meanwhile, have made another new signing, with right midfielder Craig King joining from Buxton for an undisclosed fee until the end of the 2015-16 season.
King began his career at Leicester City, making just one appearance from the substitutes' bench in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, before loan spells with Hereford United and Northampton Town. He has also played for Telford and Worksop before joining Buxton in 2013.
