Thackley's poor start to the season both on and off the field has cost manager Andy Patterson and assistant Mick Watson their jobs.
The pair have been relieved of their duties and the club has announced that Mark Senior has been appointed as director of football with Carl Priestley coming in as interim head coach.
Thackley are asking for applications for the head coach role but Priestley, who was previously manager of Sunday League club Swain Green, is in the running to get the job on a full-time basis.
The Dennyboys are 16th in the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division after five league games so far this term and they would leapfrog their Saturday's visitors Pickering with a win.
