THACKLEY Reserves recorded their first win of their Lancashire League season in style.
They thumped Ossett Town Reserves 5-0 at Dennyfield, Adam Simpson grabbing four goals, with Joe Shaw also netting.
Albion Sports Reserves led the way with a goal from Temour Khan after at Eccleshill United Reserves but lost 4-2.
The other Albion goal was scored by Marcus Harper but their goalkeeper Danny King was outstanding and made four great saves.
United's goals came from Rodrigo Sosa Soto on 31, 49 and 74 minutes, plus an own goal.
In the Lancashire League Cup, Eccleshill Leeds progressed to the next round as the result of a win on penalties at AFC Emley Reserves after the match was tied 1-1 at full-time, Tyler Dixon scoring from the spot for Eccleshill after 50 minutes.
With no extra-time being played in this competition, Eccleshill ran out 2-1 winners on penalties
