Dudley Hill are looking to inflict the double over Brighouse Rangers when they meet in a National Conference League Division Two derby at Parry Lane.

Hill won the away encounter 34-6 thanks to their mobile pack, in which prop forward Marco Rossi led the way with two tries, and it could well be more of the same as they defend an unbeaten five- match home record.

Brighouse have made a good fist of their first Conference season and are creditably placed fourth from bottom, safe from re-election.

They will want to finish the season on a high while Hill need the two points on offer to keep second spot and keep the chasing pack, led by Saddleworth and Millom, at bay.

West Bowling are at full strength for the important trip to Wath Brow in the Premier Division.

The half-back trio of Steve Illingworth, Gareth Cullerton and Danny Ramsden are back in tandem for the match that is a four-pointer' for both sides.

Bowling are just three ahead of fourth-from-bottom Wath, who have a game in hand, and with three teams going down, there is a fine line between success and failure in the flagship competition.

Joint coach Peter Simpson underlined the task ahead, saying: "It is going to be a firecracker and I will be looking to overturn my bad luck against Wath Brow, having never beaten them at home in seven attempts, which includes two National Cup quarter-finals."
