Guiseley boss Terry Dolan expects his side to bounce back from last Saturday's setback when they host Ashton United tomorrow.

Dolan feels the players owe it to themselves to find what was lacking in last week's 2-0 defeat at Prescot Cables.

Ashton, like Prescot, are in the lower reaches of mid-table but the former Bantams manager is aiming for his side to capitalise on home advantage.

"It was a very disappointing result at Prescot, we just didn't play at all," he admitted.

"We have only played that game since the turn of the year so we are looking for our first win in 2007. It would be nice to get that at the first opportunity in front of our own supporters. It is something you look for at the start of a season or a year - to get off to a good start."

Dolan has brought in Ryan Serrant - cousin of former Oldham and Newcastle player Carl, who is now at Farsley Celtic - for a one-month loan from Leeds United.

The youngster makes tomorrow's squad, having made his debut in the 2-1 win over Radcliffe Borough at the end of last year.

Dolan said: "He is only a 19-year-old lad so he is looking to make a name for himself and put some good performances in during his time with us.

"He shows a lot of promise and played well on his debut.

"However, he suffered like the rest of the players from an under-par performance last week.

"He has seen both ends of the scale and that will have done him no harm at all in his development.

"Now he has the opportunity to prove that was a bad day at the office and show resilience by putting in a good display tomorrow."
