Brighouse Town Reserves kept up their outside chances of snatching the Lancashire League East title with a 5-1 victory over their Eccleshill United A counterparts.
There were two goals apiece from Will Tolley and Cormac Noel, one of them a penalty, supported by Issac Baldwin, while Delano Brown replied for the rock-bottom Eagles.
Lancashire League West action saw Ryan Mills on target for Eccleshill United Reserves but they lost 4-1 at Fylde Reserves.
Thackley Reserves travel over the Pennines to face Hyde Reserves in a League Cup semi-final on Thursday.
In the Northern Under-19 Alliance League, Thackley are at home to leaders AFC Emley on Wednesday with a 7.45pm start at Dennyfield.
