Avenue welcome back Liam Flynn tomorrow, hoping he will be able to supply some ammunition as the club aim to improve their recent scoring record.

They travel to Belper Town to take on a Derbyshire club that are struggling at the wrong end of the table.

If Avenue wish to fulfill their expectations, they must look to take a maximum.

Bradford boss Phil Sharpe has been very frustrated by the last two results in the league.

The double header with Colwyn Bay yielded just one point for his side but four for the Welsh club, which allowed them to overtake Avenue and establish themselves as promotion candidates.

"We have not played badly over the last couple of weeks but we have not scored in our last two league games," said Sharpe.

"We have gained just one point while the teams at the top have slipped up as well.

"If we had got what we deserved from the games we would have been right back on the tails of the leading clubs.

"That didn't happen. Those points have gone now so we have to look forward. At least we didn't lose much ground.

"Belper are finding it difficult at the moment but our form away from home is not good either so we are taking nothing for granted.

"I am glad Liam is back though - he gives us a different dimension.

"He goes past people on that left flank and we have no one at the club who can fill in when he is not here.

"We have tried other midfield players in that role who are predominantly left footed and they have worked hard but it isn't the same as an out-and-out winger."

Sharpe is also hoping striker Simon Parke will be back in contention.

He was rested for the home game against Colwyn Bay last Saturday because of a groin injury.

If both Flynn and Parke are included it will be a major boost to Avenue.
