Following a huge boost last week with an away victory, Guiseley hope to follow up with a home win tomorrow and discover their elusive consistency.

It will not be a foregone conclusion against Prescot Cables - clubs from Merseyside are notoriously resilient.

But Guiseley are still seventh despite a blip and aiming to get back into the play-off frame.

"We got a clean sheet and scored three goals but it was more the performance than the result at Kendal that pleased me," said Guiseley boss Terry Dolan referring to the 3-0 win.

"As you expect, we made it difficult for ourselves with a 20-minute spell at the start of the second half when Kendal were threatening. But overall we earned a good win and there were a lot of positives."

Striker Scott Jackson was injured and had to be substituted but Dolan expects him to have recovered sufficiently to be involved tomorrow. The boss has also not ruled out an addition to the squad.

"Scott took a bang on the ribs. Everyone else came through okay and I hope we don't have to make changes.

"We do have a potential signing in mind but we will have to wait on that. It might not happen in time for this game.

"With or without that coming to frui-tion, I hope we can make it six points from six by winning again."
