The new season will feel closer for Farsley following the release of the Evo-Stik League’s fixture-list during the week.

Four weeks today, on August 17, Farsley will make the short journey over the Pennine ridge to take on Clitheroe.

The Division One North club’s first home league game is three days later when they host Prescot Cables.

Darlington 1883, the club reformed from the old Football League outfit, provide the opposition for Farsley’s first Saturday home game, on August 24, and two days later they make the short trip to Ossett Albion for the Bank Holiday Monday fixture.

The following Saturday sees Farsley in FA Cup action when they host league rivals Lancaster City in the preliminary round.

Parsley’s men have also been drawn against Evo-Stik Division One counterparts in the FA Trophy. Parsley will take his side to the Lake District to take on Kendal Town in the preliminary round on Saturday, October 5, with the winner of that tie away to AFC Fylde in the first qualifying round.

Other stand-out league games for Farsley are: Boxing Day away at Harrogate Railway Athletic and Saturday, December 28 at Ramsbottom United.

They have a home fixture on New Years Day, the return game against Ossett Albion.

Farsley’s run-in sees them travel to face Darlington 1883 (who play their home games at Bishop Auckland) on Saturday, April 19, host Harrogate the following Monday and then make the short trip to Mossley on the last day of the campaign.
