The Bradford Union are mourning the death of stalwart Mike Lynn.
The East Bierley member was made a life vice-president in 1996 following his spell as union secretary from 1987 to 1995.
Top amateur Rodney Foster was the only other person to receive the honour prior to that and only two others – Paul Crosby and the late Peter Delaney – have since been named life vice-presidents.
Lynn was also president of the union in 1981. His funeral took place at Dewsbury Crematorium on Monday.
