SIR - It’s okay showing soaps on TV highlighting mental health illnesses.
However, it’s not going to change the funding it’s all just talk.
The NHS is not in control of mental health.
I have suffered from the age of 13 and am now 54.
I am also campaigning to get the mental illness stigma lifted.
Mental illness is a silent killer.
I moved from Leeds Trust to Bradford and was supposedly transferred overnight.
No so. Seven weeks down the line I had to take an overdose to get back in the system.
Yes I survived, and thank goodness I did.
Others are not as lucky!
