SIR - Are Bradford City AFC moving forwards or backwards? It's a fair question in the light of a second manager walking away, and third gone since the club was transferred to new ownership only a few years ago.
Is the fact two managers have decided the Bantams are not for them just a coincidence or was it something to do with the ultimate 'bosses' at the club, Messrs Rahic and Rupp?
Interestingly, and perhaps ironically, when I asked a City fan the other day who he might want to see manage the club, he gave the answer, "Stuart McCall"-one of the three most recently departed and sacked by the joint chairmen.
McCall of course, has been manager of the club on two occasions.
But, looking at those quoted in the media as being "amongst the runners and riders" in being possibles for the managerial post, who should be on the list? Why, none other than Steve Cotterill.
Yet, this 'candidate' (if he is one) was one of those granted an interview during the Mark Lawn/Julian Rhodes years.
He failed to get the job when Peter Taylor was ultimately appointed!
