SIR – Leeds North West MP Greg Mulholland and Shipley MP Philip Davies say God Save The Queen should be dropped as the National Anthem for English sporting teams (T&A, June 28).
Oh, no it shouldn’t, replied 69 per cent of Telegraph & Argus readers in a poll.
Perhaps these two parliamentarians can now leave well alone and concentrate on the welfare of their constituents.
