SIR – Once again we have greedy, shameless bankers in the news, regarding financial irregularities, in order to finance their own emoluments, namely Bob Diamond of Barclays.
Is it possible that he is related to the infamous American gangster of the Twenties, “Legs” Diamond, who, I believe received his just desserts from the FBI eventually?
The present “Diamond” will probably be rewarded with an extra bonus for his efforts.
