SIR – I would like to thank the many Bradford Rock ’n’ Roll Group members of the 1950s and 1960s who came to the launch of my book, When Bradford Rocked, at the Bradford & Bingley Sports Club last Thursday. It was also one grand reunion of more than 200 stars of that time, whose average age is 70. All of the ‘rockers’ enjoyed themselves reliving those halcyon days of Bradford’s wonderful rock ’n’ roll history, and like the old days, most were wearing smart suits finished off with a tie. My thanks to them all, their stories now in print, leaving a rock ’n’ roll legacy for future generations.
