SIR – One of the ongoing topics in the T&A relates to accidents etc involving uninsured drivers. There may be a solution to this problem.
A mate of mine is visiting from Australia.We were talking about things in general when this topic came up and he told me that when you get your road tax over there, it automatically includes third-party insurance which is included in the cost.
I would suggest it is easier to spot an untaxed vehicle than one with no insurance. Is this worth thinking about?
