SIR – The T&A on Tuesday, June 12, carried the excellent news that Space Connections will move to the Inspire Business Park at Eccleshill.
By any definition, this company is high- tech. What is it doing on a brownfield development partly-funded by the Council?
During the Buck Lane planning process, the Council conceded that, although Bradford had more industrial land than was needed, it was all low-quality and could not attract high-tech firms.
We were told that the only viable option was the destruction of greenfield sites.
Surely it is about time the Council had a consistent approach to regeneration. Until they do, their illogical policies will only benefit the developers.
