SIR – There are certain things that David Ward has supported since his time as an MP that I disagree with but his views on whether Bradford Bulls should ground-share with Bradford City is an excellent idea.
Something that I have thought for a long time is fundamental in getting both clubs to be more financially viable.
The Valley Parade ground has up-to-date facilities and an all-seater stadium with a roof. Compare this to what is on offer at Odsal and personally I think there is no comparison. I speak as someone who attends all the Bulls’ home fixtures and have supported the club for more than 30 years.
Hull and Wigan have shown the way – let the Bulls finally leave Odsal to the developers. However, let us not have another empty hole in Bradford. Perhaps then our MPs could concentrate on getting two rather large holes in Bradford filled!
