SIR – To the critics of the pool. OK we have been given a pinch of luxury in a bucket full of deprivation, but don’t you think we deserve it? Other towns would not bat an eyelid at what has just been given to us “the pool”.
London thinks it is the centre of the universe, we are not only the poor relations, we are not related at all. So bring it on, Council, we want more, and while you are at it restore Bradford’s symbol of democracy, the Odeon.
