SIR – I am totally dismayed with the Labour party who demonstrate once again they have not got a clue.
Having just watched the party broadcast (April 11), can they please explain how by voting for a Labour councillor it will help save the NHS from redundancies and budget cuts?
Since when has my local councillor had any responsibility for hiring and firing or setting the NHS budget?
Local elections are about local issues, so all the main parties keep telling us, but Labour try to play the emotional card to detract from their local government record?
To Labour HQ, there is a clue in the accronym NHS – the N stands for National!
