SIR – It came as no surprise to see MP Gerry Sutcliffe (pictured) add his name to the Bulls “Quest for Survival” cause.
He has done nothing for Bradford sport. Even as Government Sports Minister, he did nothing for Bradford sport.
It took Leeds MP Greg Mulholland as Rugby League Liaison Minister to bring the Bulls’ plight to Westminster’s attention.
Was Mr Sutcliffe there on Friday night to add his weight to the cause against the Rhino’s? After all, Odsal is on his patch. Newly-elected Bradford West MP George Galloway was, and had talks with Peter Hood.
Perhaps Mr Sutcliffe can also ‘come clean’ and tell everyone how much he has pledged to the cause out of his salary.
