SIR – Please could you kindly print this letter as I wish to register a formal vote of thanks to the kind gentlemen concerned.
I recently spent a weekend in Bradford with a group of friends who were staying at Hollins Hall. On my last night there, I got lost travelling back from Hollins Hall to The Great Victoria Hotel situated by Bradford Interchange.
My purpose for writing this letter is to personally thank the taxi driver (car reg YH05 OVM) who kindly escorted me back to the hotel. As I didn’t know the Bradford area at all, I am extremely grateful for the kindness he showed me, as without this I feel I would still be circling Bradford to this day.
Once again, thank you very much, Mr Taxi Driver.
