SIR – I don't believe it! I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a Miscellaneous Licenses Panel, but Labour Councillor Vanda Greenwood did (T&A December 7).
Village greens, sex shops, lap dancing clubs; sounds like a square on the City Hall Monopoly board.
At £12,000 per annum for one meeting a year, we could have got Tony Blair for that.
