SIR - Many of your readers will have watched those long-necked, dragon-like machines gnawing at the 1960s concrete boxes in Forster Square and Broadway.
A photograph should be taken of one of these engines of destruction scrabbling at one of the Odeon's elegant domes; while lined up in Princes Way stand the true controllers of our city - not the whole elected Council, but representatives of that government-funded quango, Yorkshire Forward, and Bradford Centre Regeneration. Hovering above could be imposed the face of Will Alsop.
When the 2040 edition of "Bradford Memories" comes to be published, those guilty of vandalism would be on photographic record.
