SIR – Draconian car insurance frauds of claiming for whiplash need draconian measures to prevent it.
Insurers already impose exceptions and disallow claims for sometimes spurious reasons. I suggest that whiplash injuries are specifically excluded from claimable risks.
This would stop the situation overnight instead of tinkering at the edges.
