SIR - What is happening to this country? The police can go round killing innocent people going about their business and get away with it. They have also, to date, caused indirectly or directly the deaths of 44 people driving their cars, according to the news tonight.
A police officer drives at 159mph and gets no punishment. Should all the normal people who have been fined and given three points on their licence now be let off?
It is time all this was put right. The police want the respect of the public. It is time they started to earn it before its too late, if that isn't the case already.
