SIR– I would like to say thank you to everyone for the wonderful support for my wildlife picture protest. I had almost 1,300 visitors to my article on HubPages. If every one of those put in an objection letter against the development before June 15, we might make our numbers up to the objections to the first application. That application received 2,000 and as of yesterday, the second application had received only 300.
I think this is largely because people do not realise their first objections do not count for this second application. So along with thanks for all the kind words I have received, can I also appeal to people to put their objections into action with a letter to Bradford Planning Department. You can get details of what is a valid objection and how to submit it via the Greenhill Action Group website. The display has been left in place.
