SIR – I need to reassure Gloria Dallas (Letters, March 24) that I do know the difference between roads and pavements, and our problem with horses on Fagley Estate is on the latter.
Fortunately, an allotment holder was kind enough to ring up and assure me that if the pavement problem occurs again, he will come round at once and deal with it.
I look forward to the possible gift of a bunch of rhubarb at some later date, which I will probably have to register somewhere as obtained while attempting to serve the pedestrians of Fagley.
