SIR – With all the disasters and turmoil in the world today, it seems selfish that I am appealing on behalf of horses.
But who will speak on their behalf if not me?
Roleystone Horse Sanctuary in Wrose provides a home for old and unwanted horses and is in desperate need of substantial donations at this time.
Volunteers – especially yard manager Dianne French – work in atrocious conditions to maintain a quality of life for these and other animals.
