SIR - On Sunday, August 13, Ken Kenzie, one of our historians from Eccleshill Local History Group, took a few of us around Westgate and the surrounding areas in Bradford to learn about our history and see what could be cleared up and regenerated for visitors to see and enjoy.
If every property and business owner was made responsible for clearing up rubbish from behind their properties - and perhaps a lick of point wouldn't go amiss - Bradford would shine.
Stop the rot before it's too late. Why can't we have replicas of the old buildings which were built to last?Another Swan Arcade would be great, not futuristic buildings that don't fit in with our City Hall or the Alhambra.
