SIR – While visiting the Bowling Cemetery recently, I noticed the Chapel there has fallen into a poor state of repair.

Why has this been allowed to happen? Surely it could be used by an undertaker – or even several – and restored to its former glory.

I can imagine it cleaned up and restored as I can remember when it was in use in the 1960s. It is a beautiful piece of architecture.
